Israel Day Parade 2007

I stopped by the Israel Day Parade yesterday; I only meant to spend a half hour or so but ended up staying for two hours. I'm not really a person who generally enjoys parades, mostly because I don't care for the noise or crowds. But I usually make it a point to attend this parade, mostly because its largely such a positive experience. And thats mainly because its such a family oriented event. The marchers are mostly school kids and the spectators are mostly parents with little kids. Its a parade where you can feel young watching it. (I marched in it years and years ago but I find that I prefer watching the parade to marching in it - mainly because I was the tallest person in my class and so I always got stuck carrying something heavy that I would tire myself out carrying around.)
